Darren Verbeeren is an Affiliate Director for Testing & Quality Assurance at Friday Concepts with more than 20 years of experience leading enterprise testing, quality assurance, and delivery assurance across complex financial services and capital markets transformation programmes. He specialises in programme test management, enterprise QA strategy, regulatory change delivery, UAT readiness, vendor assurance, and technology risk management, with extensive experience supporting large-scale banking transformations across post-trade, clearing, settlement, payments, and capital markets platforms.
Prior to joining Friday Concepts, Darren held senior programme test leadership roles with Citibank, UBS, Credit Suisse, and Capgemini, delivering critical transformation initiatives across global financial institutions. His experience includes leading testing and assurance for UBS’s ISO 20022 migration across 62 applications, DTCC T+1 settlement readiness, the UBS-Credit Suisse integration, and complex futures and OTC clearing technology programmes. He has established enterprise QA frameworks, strengthened governance and control environments, and provided independent assurance across multi-vendor, multi-platform transformation initiatives involving business, operations, technology teams, and third-party providers.
Combining deep capital markets expertise with strong programme governance capabilities, Darren helps organisations reduce delivery risk, improve execution confidence, and achieve successful transformation outcomes through disciplined testing strategy, quality management, and evidence-based assurance.
Prior to joining Friday Concepts, Bruno spent over two decades with Credit Suisse in senior project and programme management roles before leading major transformation initiatives for Temenos, Standard Chartered Bank, UBS Card Center, and other global financial institutions. Throughout his career, he has successfully delivered core banking implementations, digital banking platforms, online and mobile banking solutions, regulatory and tax reporting programmes, complex data migration initiatives, and multi-country banking transformations. His extensive experience in banking operations, wealth management, and private banking, combined with deep technical knowledge of core banking platforms, enables him to provide strategic guidance and implementation oversight for complex banking transformation programmes.
