Fridolin Blumer is a Consulting Director at Friday Concepts with nearly 40 years of international experience leading banking transformation, digital strategy, and operational excellence initiatives across Asia and Europe. He holds an MBA from Singapore Management University and has extensive expertise in core banking transformation, target operating model design, vendor management, programme delivery, contract negotiation, and solution architecture. Throughout his career, he has advised leading financial institutions on large-scale business and technology transformation, combining deep operational knowledge with executive leadership across private banking, wealth management, and financial services.
Prior to joining Friday Concepts, Fridolin held senior leadership positions with Avaloq, Clariden Leu, Credit Suisse, and numerous international consulting organisations, where he successfully led complex banking transformation programmes, core banking system implementations, outsourcing initiatives, and digital transformation projects for banks across Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Australia, Europe, and the Middle East. His experience includes designing target operating models, delivering enterprise-scale technology programmes, negotiating major technology and outsourcing contracts, building high-performing international teams, and advising boards and executive management on strategy, operational excellence, and digital transformation.
